The application of acid crucible smelting method is limited to smelting high-temperature manganese steel, manganese nitrogen heat-resistant steel, high-speed tool steel, carbon steel die steel, heat-resistant steel, etc. Smelting steel must have high silicon content and free of Al, Ti, B, Zr and other easily oxidizable elements.
