Induction furnace power supply equipment, also known as solid-state medium frequency power supply, is a static frequency conversion power supply composed of power semiconductor components. It has two ways: AC-DC-AC frequency conversion and AC-AC frequency conversion. Now only the former is involved, which is the most commonly used medium frequency power supply.

2. The electric furnace can be emptied without residual solution, so it is easy to change metal varieties.

3. It is not necessary to dry the wet or greasy burden, it can be directly put into the furnace for melting.

4. It can automatically change frequency to adapt to the change of furnace charge parameters. It does not need to use contactors to switch capacitors to compensate power factor like power frequency induction furnace.

At the same productivity, the volume of medium frequency furnace body is small, so the heat loss and thermal stress of furnace lining are small, and the service life of furnace lining is prolonged.

6. It doesn't need the voltage regulating switch which is easy to break down, so as to reduce the maintenance workload.

7 No three-phase balancing device is required.

It covers a small area and costs less for civil engineering and installation.
