How to use and maintain the crucible of induction melting furnace

(1) Reasonable arrangement of smelting furnace

It is better to arrange continuous smelting for the crucible of induction furnace and reduce the number of furnace shutdown as far as possible. In the case of intermittent operation, the production should be concentrated as far as possible to improve the service life of the crucible.

(2) Reasonable arrangement of steel grades in induction melting furnace

During the service life of the crucible furnace, the low carbon steel should be smelted in the early stage of the induction melting furnace, and the high alloy steel should be smelted in the middle stage, so as to reduce the number of furnace washing and improve the output of steel. Low alloy steel is smelted at the end of crucible use. The first 1-3 heats of induction furnace new crucible smelt common varieties, and then smelt more important varieties.

(3) Clean and repair the crucible of induction melting furnace in time

After tapping, the dross adhering to the inner surface of the crucible should be removed in time to check whether there are cracks. After the crucible of Yifei induction melting furnace is cooled, the local corroded parts should be repaired and dried immediately.

The crucible of medium frequency induction furnace needs to be repaired completely; the slag line of induction smelting furnace is mainly repaired; the vacuum induction furnace is rarely repaired, and the main purpose is to remove the oxide adhered on the inner wall of the crucible immediately, so as to avoid the increase of wall thickness and reduce the electrical efficiency.
