How to realize the heating process of induction furnace?

The heating of furnace charge by induction furnace can be divided into the following three stages for analysis.

1. When the alternating frequency current passes through the induction coil, an alternating magnetic field synchronized with the current is generated in and around the coil. The magnetic line of alternating magnetic field passes through the charge and is cut. The strength of the magnetic field depends on the current intensity, frequency, coil turns and geometric size.

2. Induced current generated by alternating magnetic field

In the magnetic field, part of the magnetic lines penetrate the metal charge in the crucible and are cut. Thus, an induced current is generated in the circuit composed of charge.

3. The induction current is converted into heat energy to heat the metal charge

The induction current generated in the charge overcomes the resistance of the charge and converts the electric energy into heat energy to heat the metal charge or molten steel.

According to Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction and Joule Lenz's law, the whole process of current magnetic field electric energy heat energy heating is realized in the above three stages.
